A fun, deductive word association game that gets your brain working. Played in teams, the game consists of 25 words laid out in a 5 x 5 grid. The words are code names - one is the assassin, the other words represent agents that work for either your team, or your opponents. The Spymaster for each team is tasked with offering one word clues to help team mates guess which words reveal their own spies, while not guessing the other teams agents - or worse, the assassin. Ideally the spymaster offers a clue that relates to multiple agents, so the team can successfully ID more than one agent per turn. Lots of fun, with great re-playability.
The two rival spymasters know the secret identities of 25 agents. Their teammates know the agents only by their CODENAMES. The teams compete to see who can make contact with all of their agents first. Spymasters give one-word clues that can point to multiple words on the board. Their teammates try to guess words of the right color while avoiding those that belong to the opposing team. And everyone wants to avoid the assassin. Codenames: win or lose, it’s fun to figure out the clues.
