EDITOR'S REVIEW

Great value for an afternoon of play. Basically what you're getting is the sidewalk chalk with an accessory to extrend play to making up outdoor games to play on teh driveway.

I like the bean bag game because it's so fun! You have to make your game - it's fun to do that. And then you have to toss the bean bags into the holes. There are different levels and you can make another hole if you want for more points. We still have about half of the chalk pieces and I've played a few times. You can make a much farther game and make it worth 6 points to make the game more fun!

This game (Obstacle Course) wasn't very fun. Me, my sister and neighbour played, but made up our own game with the cones and chalk. We rode our bikes around them instead. And we used the chalk to draw.

I like it because it's good exercise and I like to draw on the driveway. Sometimes I don't know what to draw but it gave me some ideas.

This game is the awesomest game ever. I love drawing and throwing the bean bag. I can make up my games and we can change the game just with some water. I love that the bean bag is soft.

WHAT ADULTS THINK

A cute game to play on the driveway! Ezra (M6) had fun making the game 'board' with the chalk (though one game, coloured-in, used up most of the chalk - but you can always buy some more). He liked the idea of making his own game by adding score fields or changing it up however he wanted. A great way to get uncreative kids a little creative! Great price too for an afternoon of fun!

I like this little fun game. It really is one of those games that you buy off the shelf and use it that day and enjoy with a bunch of kids. It is a nice game to add to a birthday gift or bring to a play date with your kids. Everything is in the little cute box. It is really well advertised. Love the concept. And when you finish with the chalk you can use the bean bags for another activity. One of those great little add on to gifts or if you are just visiting a friend and you want to bring something for the kids to do. it is light and allows for lots of hours of fun. Who doesn't like chalk and then you add a little bit of extra like a bean bag or little pylons .... Bonus!!

My seven year old daughter was excited to see the package. When she opened it up her first reaction was "why the 2 white chalks and is this it"? She tried the obstacle course with 2 of her friends (5 and 6 yrs old). The made an obstacle course for their bike. Also, used it for making hopscotch game. Rest of the chalk was used for drawing. The plastic cones were not used after the initial testing. She wasn't interested even when we duplicated the obstacle course from the picture.

We tested the Obstacle Course toy which comes with sidewalk chalk and several plastic cones. This toy was a bit of a bust for my girls. My daughters (7 and 11) and their friend tried to play with the game as it was meant to be played, but found it quite boring. They ended up using the chalk separately to draw on the sidewalk, and made up their own games with the cones (hid them for hide and seek, used them with their scooters as obstable course).

Great idea, it is small, cheap and compact but it gives the children lots of options and promotes creativy. There are many different games and I explained some of the games to Emma (7yrs) but in general she enjoyed creating her own and making the rules has she played. The only down fall is that there is only 2 bean bags, I think a good number would of been 4 (2 of each color).

Great versatile game. Kids (m2, m4, f5, f7) played this for hours and always change up the games. It's compact and infinitely refillable. The kids (M2,4, F5 and 7) loved that they could play the suggested game or make their own bean bag up. My husband (big kid 31) loved to make more challenging games of "corn hole" using the chalk as well.
