This was by far the favourite new puzzle form this company! The set up is quick and straighforward, and the rules are easy to grasp. The unusual shape of the "nest" of hedghog babies requires that you think a little differently about how to move it around. Our testers loved rolling, flipping and turning it to be positioned just right to jump the wall back to Mother hedgehog.
NOTE: If you enjoy this puzzle, you'll probably also like Say Cheese by the same company - similar type of roll moving, but with multiple (instead of just one piece) cubes and squared pillar shapes.
WHAT THE KIDS SAY
I love this game! I did up to challenge 6 with no help at all. Number 1 was so easy.
I really like this game because it has alot of great puzzles but some have mistakes. Anyway, these are great puzzles!
I like this game. The animals are cute, but this game is tricky!! I have been able to do some of the puzzles and I am trying to do more. I like to play with this game while I wait to pick up my sisters at school.
I really like this game. The hedgehogs and badgers are cute and I like the way the pieces move. I take take this toy from room and room. I have complete some of the puzzles, but not all of them yet! Ugh, they are tricky.
I really like the way that you move the hedgehogs. It is very fun and still gives you a challenge at the same time. I don't normally like brain teasers but this one I love and I did half of them in one night. The instructions are easy to follow.
I like to play. I like to make them roll ( hedghogs) they flip and turn and then they get out to see their mommy. It's fun.
It's a fun game, it can be done really fast if you turn the hedgehogs the right way or the same game can last a while. I have retried certain levels to see if I can take a different path to get to the end. I like that the mother peeks over the hedge, it's like she is trying to help her babies. I like that the answers are in the back so that if I get to stuck I can have a quick peep. the badgers are funny and it's weird how there is always 1 in the way of where I want to go!

WHAT ADULTS THINK
Great concept, great design and a great brainteaser game! It takes nothing to learn and the early challenges are great for the younger age group (my 5 year old has been playing with it a lot). My kids all like to challenge themselves with this game (and so do I!). The pieces are very cute and it comes in a bag which makes it very easy to put away in between play sessions. It even comes with an extra badger piece, which is a bonus for a house that often loses things!
This was a real favourite brain teaser. The hedgehogs are a unique shape so you have to think about moving them around a little differently. It comes with lots of puzzles and they definitely have some good challenging ones. All my kids (F9, F13, M15) liked this one and I have done about 2/3's of them myself. I just have to find some time to finish them off (I hope).
I enjoyed playing this game with my children. It is a challenging puzzle game and keeps the kids trying and trying until they have completed the level. The game is easy to set up, and reset if needed. The pieces are easy to play with and it can be played anywhere. I enjoyed this game and the kids are still having a good time with it.
This game makes my brain ache..but in a good way. The set up is a snap and the rules are very easy to learn...just roll the little hedgehog so that they can hope over the edge. Seems very simple until you arrive at the edge and you're not turned the right way! It's a frustrating puzzle but also motivating, it's easy to restart if I get too mixed up. The kids enjoy it, it has some strategy to it that my older son enjoys but enough of a luck element that my youngest likes to play too. I like that it comes iwth a plastic bag to store the pieces in and there is nan extra badger in case we lose one.
How does a hedgehog make his getaway? Through a hedge, of course! When ten little hedgehogs are surprised by some bad-news badgers, they have to roll together to reach the low spot in the hedge where Mother Hedgehog is waiting. (True fact: badgers eat hedgehogs!)
The Goal: Help the spiny guys escape by rolling them safely past the badgers. It’s not so easy! There’s only one way all ten can clear the hedge in a single roll.
The Challenges: 50 different setups challenge you to foil the badgers.
So what are you waiting for? Get rolling!
