While adults could make the block scoopping feature worm, kids were less successful and quickly lost interest in this feature. But our testers loved having a wagon their size to cart toys around the house. They also loved playing with the 21 included Mega Bloks. It's just that other than carting the blocks amongst the other toys, the two weren't really used together much.
WHAT THE KIDS SAY
WHAT ADULTS THINK
Both my kids, F4 and M1.5 yrs, love Mega Bloks, so they were happy to have even more blocks that come with the wagon. My kids like to watch me scoop up the blocks with the wagon, but after a few unsuccessful attempts, they have lost interest in doing it themselves. My son really likes having a wagon just his size, but hasn't been able to use the wagon as intended. I think the scooping action requires too much of a 'runway' in order to get the blocks in, so it's tough for my little ones in our small house.
As soon as I introduced this toy I knew I was in trouble. Both of my twin boys (19 months) wanted to play with it and they didn't want to share. They loved the idea of having to pull the wagon around but seem to overlook the building blocks. Unfortunately my boys become too aggressive when the toy is out. I will have to slowly introduce this toy over time unless I get another toy so each kid will have their own!
I was a little disappointed with this scooping wagon. It did not scoop well at all. Wagon was used and played with but my son did not even notice the scooping part at all.
F4 now mostly uses it as a wagon. Initially she was excited about its unique feature of being able to scoop up small blocks that it rolled over. However, this feature does not work well and she stopped trying to do so. F2 likes to try to roll it, and to put things in/out of it. F4 occasionally will try to build something with the blocks that it came with. Brightly colored wagon (red) with handle that folds over the top of the wagon when not in use-handle out of the way. Large wheels make for easy rolling.

It really takes a lot of effort to successfully pick up one block. You need a lot of floor space to pass the wagon over the block to get it all the way into the wagon. My daughter, 4, was able to do it a couple times, but lost interest quickly. My son really likes having a wagon just his size, but hasn't been able to use the wagon as intended.
My son (20 mos) is still fairly new to walking, but he loves filling up the wagon with all kinds of things (not just the blocks it comes with!) and dragging them around the house. He doesn't really understand the scooper mechanism so ignored this feature, but it doesn't seem to matter as he used the wagon consistently to put his toys in and cart them around the house. He used the blocks for building, but he's familiar with the blocks since we have a larger set he's been using for months.
Evan (M2) loves Mega Bloks, so he of course enjoyed building with these blocks. The wagon doesn't come with many blocks though (21), so if we didn't have more at home already, it wouldn't have been as much fun. The wagon itself carried the blocks nicely, and Evan enjoyed climbing in it. However, functionally, the wagon didn't work well at all to pick up the blocks. It was big and bulky, and although you could store blocks in it, it wasn't used for much other than storage. For our family, just the blocks themselves were more of a hit than the wagon!
