A brightly coloured, and very attractive toy. But unfortuantely, the toy was just way too difficult for ALL our testers to manage. Even the older ones had difficulty turning the "tails" so that they lined up well enough to make the ball drop. And the stack often toppled before they could even try.
WHAT ADULTS THINK
This toy was exciting in the beginning, but the interest wore off pretty quickly. My 2 year old has a hard time getting the handles turned just right so that the balls will fall down. Also the pieces knock over very easily after being stacked.
No interest in this from my daughter (F,22m) it was simply too difficult for her despite the recomended age of 12m+. It was too difficult to stack and fell over when she tried to turn the handles. It did not maintain her interest at all.
The animals are too hard to stack and fall over and the tails are too hard for such small hands to turn. The colours are bright and the animals are fun, but the toy does not function well at all for my 13 month old daughter.
Stacking toy + unpredictable ball poppin’ fun is how Playskool’s Stack ‘n Drop Animals captivates my little’ one! As he stacks the four animals in different configurations and engages with the activities he’ll get different ball droppin’ results every time. Activities include: Monkey spinner, Lion swing, Hippo lever and Crocodile has two openings. Includes two balls.
