WHAT THE KIDS SAY
I really like this game. The squirrel is very cute. I liked to match the coloured nuts to the colour on the log. I loved to play this game with my dad. I won a lot!
I really like this game because i can teach other people how to play the game and we have fun playing it. Sometimes i play it with my stuffed toys. Everyone gets a chance to spin the wheel and put the acorn in the right place. My favourite part is when i can steal someone else's acorn.
Momma, i really like this game! I like to catch all the acorns!
WHAT ADULTS THINK
This was a really great game. It was very easy to play both with the rules and even making up our own. My daughter (5) loved this game, both as a game and as a toy. As soon as we got it she openned the box right away and started playing with the nuts and the squirrel tweezers. The only thing I really didn't like was that the toy logs were made out of paper. They seemed very durable but I think over time they would have started falling apart. Aside from that, we loved this game - it was easy and quick to play.
This is a great game that reinforces colour matching while building on fine motor skills. My son loved the game. It was simple enough for him to play and explain to others without adult supervision. I explained the game to him once. We played a full game together and then he was off explaining how to play it to his sister and father. He had a lot of fun. I know that the concept was basic for him but he still loved the game. He gravites to it because he can take ownership of the game. He actually gets his stuff animals to play with him as well. The game does not take long to complete so the interest level is quite high.
I thought Cole (M4) would be very disappointed when he landed on the storm picture and had to place all of his acorns back on the tree but he wasn't. He seemed to like it because it meant be could keep on playing and try to collect his favorite colors.
Be the first to your stump with delicious acorns and you win! Your forest friends are hungry and they need your help! Spin the spinner, squeeze the matching colored acorn with your Squirrel Squeezers, and place it into your stump. Be the first to your stump with delicious acorns and you win! You could also spin “pick an acorn,” “steal an acorn,” or “lose an acorn,” so be strategic, little squirrel!
